Volunteer Position


Reports to: Kitchen Coordinator


The Dishwasher position is a major part in the operations of Agape Table. The dishwasher is responsible for ensuring that all dishes are cleaned according to health and safety standards. Volunteering as a dishwasher is a great way to gain experience for future employment in the restaurant industry.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Wash dishes using proper health and safety methods
  • Dry and store clean dishes in their proper places
  • Ensure cloths are stored in pail of water and sanitizer while not in use
  • Arrive on time for shift
  • Maintain good personal hygiene
  • Work with other volunteers and treat them with respect and dignity
  • Report any problems to program coordinator
